As the description indicates, this is just a viewer that ncISO includes as
a default option. It is not a service endpoint like OPeNDAP, WMS, NCSS,
etc. I think leaving the gmd:protocol as "None" is accurate in this case.
It is not "http", for instance, because this viewer is a Java app. In my
personal version of ncISO, I commented this section out because I did not
want the toolkit advertised in our metadata but that is just our preference.
