it seems we missed to fix that in that chapter, because we changed the
CRS of the sample dataset. Please change it to the content of the
getting_started.tex file where it says: 

"The projection for the QGIS sample dataset is Alaska Albers Equal
Area with unit feet. The EPSG code is 2964."
