[Qgis-community-team] (no subject)

Hello folks,
       Can somebody help me to use intersect functionality in QGIS. I have tried several time but results I keep on getting is an error message like this. "No output created. File creation error. Following field names are longer than 10 character".

I would like to know the number of  character that can occupy a field.
