Hi Matteo,

the supported_data.po from your working_with_raster is giving this erro.
Probably it is corrupted by some error. Please throw this file away, and
translate that one from the ground up (it is very hard to find the exact
error).

What I've done to find this:

- checkout the manual_en1.8 branch
- run the pre_translate it script (to gather all strings and put them in
po files (merging already available strings from excisting po files)
- run the post_translate it script (to let sphinx use the po files to
create html

that went fine

then I copied folder by folder from your zip into my
i18n/it/LC_MESSAGES.. folder
all went fine, except the working_with_rasters

To clean up the error, I just removed the full working_with_rasters
folder again, ran both scripts and was building html again

Then took file for file, to filter out all possibilities..

So: something wrong with supported_data.po. I see somewhere some empty
link |#|_ ... maybe that gives the error

Please just remove all italian supported_data files (both .mo and .po)
from your build tree en run pre and post script.
If that is ok: do a pull request :-)

Then fix the supported_data translation

Hope this helps,

Regards,
