[Qgis-community-team] Finding instructions to compile QGIS from source

Hi all,

We had instructions on our wiki describing the necessary packages and
the build process on Ubuntu/Debian if you want to compile QGIS from
source, e.g. the cmake part, etc.

I would welcome if these instructions could be included or linked at
http://www.qgis.org/en/site/getinvolved/development/index.html

These pages somehow disappeard - or at least I can't find them. Did
someone remove these notes from the wiki?
