[Qgis-developer] compile error

I am new to Qgis 
 I tried to access an the line mailing list of Qgis but unfortuenatly i could not.
 I am trying to compile a source of GRASSQt.tgz ,when trying to compile there are som errors due to methods missing in the vect.h file - i guess- such as (V2_num_lines , V2_num_areas , V2_get_area_bbox , V2_get_area) when using with GRASSVectorLayer.cpp.
 I am using Grass_6 , Qt 3.3 along with suse10 .
 PLZ help.
