[Qgis-developer] Packaging Qgis for Debian, help understanding

The qgis Debian package depends upon libqgis0 (both packages from 
the same source).The dependency resulted to be strict on the same 
version, at least in the current release.

Unfortunately the package built by me, declares just a generic 
depends upon libqgis0, unversioned. In the control file there is:

  Depends: ${shlibs:Depends}, ${misc:Depends}

So I think that the actual dependencies are deducted at 
packaging-time by dpkg-buildpackage.

Is it possible to impose the dependency upon the same version 
number without declaring it explicitly?


The bottom line could be: do you have some reading to suggest, 
about control file for a Debian multipackage?
