[Qgis-developer] QgsApplication returning blank paths

Thanks Tim. So it did turn out to be a library related issue.  I was not 
currently building the python bindings but there was an old symlink 
still pointing to a 0.11.0 python library. Cleaned out /usr/local/lib 
and everything is fine.
