[Qgis-developer] Call for packaging : 1.0.2 'Kore' and 1.1 'Pan'

Hi Tim and others,

I have a big favor to ask:

Yesterday I posted a problem with slow project loading for the
QGIS/Postgis combination. At least a handful of other users are having
similar issues.

See thread starting at:
http://lists.osgeo.org/pipermail/qgis-user/2009-April/005182.html

It is a real problem, for me and others. Maybe we can solve it by changing
something in the Postgis datastructure - but maybe it is also a more
serious issue in QGIS that can be solved before releasing QGIS 1.1.

I wonder if you could wait with packaging until we have more information
on what the issue is here. Jürgen and Paolo are partially looking into the
issue with me. I would really appreciate if we could get a QGIS 1.1
release that would load my QGIS/Postgis project a lot faster than it does
today.

Thanks a lot,
Andreas
