[Qgis-developer] Problem compiling with SpatiaLite support

this would be cool.

I have hopes that SpatiaLite will be a shapefile replacer, if it will be 
supported by more GIS projects/products. Other people want to see ESRI's 
file geodatabase as a replacement, but the Filegeodatabase is more 
complex to handle and corrupted with vendor-specific data.

So a good support for SpatiaLite has some potential to replace the 
ageing shapefile format ...
