Hi

Try to run ldd on your QGIS binary and see what gdal lib it is looking
for. Then check all the usual suspects:

- - is ccmake showing the correct gdal lib variable?
- - is gda 1.6 in your library search path
- - have you clean built since changing the gdal lib in cmake?

Regards

Tim

Since we are linking to gdal 1.6 now, python must be set to look for gdal python pyd files in osgeo4w/apps/gdal1.6 instead of the default python libs path. No idea how to fix that in the osgeo4w dist, though no doubt Juergen will have an idea.
