Stefan,
your suggestions make sense. I would recommend you to file tickets for
them in Trac [1] otherwise the feature requests will be easily lost.
The first request for saving without exiting editing mode looks
simple. I'm not sure about the second one: the error reporting IMHO
varies among providers - some might be able to give a complete and
detailed list of errors, others might be less verbose.
