Sorry, I was in a hurry the first time that I sent this and omitted the
actual error message. The gist of my problem is that I cannot load a
GeoTiff into the latest development version but can load the same image
into older QGIS versions. Is the development team aware of this problem
and do they plan to fix it for the 1.5 release?
Yesterday I downloaded the latest development version of OSGEO4W QGIS
(1.5.0 code version 13686) and tried opening a GeoTIFF SPOT image and
got the error message:
"E:/SPOT_imagery_mosaic_misty_lake_mb.tif is not a supported raster data
source"
I confirmed that I could open the image in QGIS 1.1 and 1.3 so it looks
like the problem is with the development version. Here is the
information about the image from GDALINFO:
E:\>gdalinfo SPOT_imagery_mosaic_misty_lake_mb.tif
Driver: GTiff/GeoTIFF
Files: SPOT_imagery_mosaic_misty_lake_mb.tif

Could someone verify that this is a problem with this version of QGIS?
Thanks,
Bob Bruce
