Thanks for your work, Marco.

BTW, Alex has also built a dll for win, which can be helpful for those
who cannot build on windows (like myself). Here is the link:

My three small feature requests:
1. Allow to make frame color transparent
2. Allow to make annotations taking value from current labeling field
of the current layer.
3. Save map marker/map position etc. choice for next annotation
