[Qgis-developer] problem building SIP

I m trying to install SIP with MinGW as part of compiling QGIS as given in 
http://www.webalice.it/marco.pasetti/qgis+grass/BuildFromSource.html#SIP

Configuration and Building commands are as follows:
cd c:\msys\local\src\sip-4.11.1
qtvars
python configure.py -p win32-g++
make
make install

All is fine till make [No probs with configuring and compiling]. But on executing make install, following error occurs: 
make[1]: Entering directory '/local/src/sip-4.11.1/sipgen'
/bin/sh: -c: line 1: syntax error: unexpected end of file
make[1]: ***[install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory 'local/src/sip-4.11.1/sipgen'
make: ***[install] Error 2

This prob. occurs for any other ver. of SIP too. What is wrong? 
quick help highly appreciated, its urgent.
