I would vote against creating another resource (difficult to maintain).
IMHO, it is better working towards maintaining the trac, e.g. a ticket which is
accepted should mean the dev is currently working on it.
So if someone needs a feature, he can open a ticket, and he knows nobody is working
on it unless a dev accepts it.
I periodically do my efforts in keeping the trac queue clean, and I often find old
garbage here and there.
