[Qgis-developer] New Symbology : merge borders on nodes for lines

Hi devs,

I am trying to use the new symbology to display good looking OpenStreetMap
road data. I have not figured out how to avoir collisions of borders in the
interesections.

As you can see, the result is not very "classy". I would like to achieve
this kind of rendering :

Am I doing something wrong ? Or is the feature not yet available in Qgis 1.6
?
