1.0 was almost abbandoned in favour of more stable 1.2/1.4.

So I think it will happen when 2.2/2.4 will be out.

If a 2.0 project can be opened with QGIS 2.2, I don't see why I should stay
at 2.0 without all bugfixes of 2.2.
