[Qgis-developer] Launching qgis-dev on windows to show command line.

Hi all,

This maybe a real noobish question.  I'm trying to get qgis r15395 to show
debugging info in the console window on windows; if I check the about dialog
it says "This copy of QGIS write debugging output" but nothing is shown when
I launch from the command line.   I have tried calling qgis-dev.bat and just
setting up the variables and calling apps\qgis-dev\bin\qgis.exe but still
nothing.

On linux I normally just call qgis-dev\bin\qgis on the command line and it
will show me the debug info.

Anyone able to help me?
