At the risk of causing a mass migration from the hairy hordes when
they see how beautiful linux is, lets use maybe gnome clearlooks or
something distro agnostic. I think its ok to use mac/linux/ubuntu
screenshots but standardised for each platform. eg.

Linux: Gnome Clearlooks
Win: WinXP 'toys r us' look
Mac: ok no choice here :-)

It would be actually nice to have on the front page the same project
loaded on each platform and the three screenshots superimposed to give
the user an immediate impression of 'this thing runs everywhere'.
