Hi Everyone,

These are rather newbie questions so apologies beforehand. I hope someone in the know would be able to answer them.

1. I would like to run qgis on portable windows 7 device for largely field data collection. What could I do to customise it to get rid of unrelated libraries and display etc to make it run faster i.e. basically have a sort of qgis-lite type of installation.

2. My datasets are inside a ESRI personal Geodatabase. I am able to load and display the vector data using the "load vector" but there doesn't appear to be any way of loading the rasters inside the PGDB.

3. Along the same line as #2, I can only display the vector data inside the PGDB but am unable to edit it. Is it possible to edit them at all? If not, are there any other ways of storing multiple datasets in a single collection and edit them?

Thanks lot.

Best wishes,
Sanjay Rana
