Thanks Jürgen.

Everything works fine by copying the libeay32.dll into apps\qgis-dev\bin\

I also found out what other software caused the conflict. It is Abacus - the accounting software our city id using.

Thanks again Andreas.

Hi Jürgen,

Do you know in which directories I need to place the libeay32.dll?
Would it be the directory where the qgis.exe file resides - e.g.
C:\Program Files\OSGeo4W\apps\qgis-dev\bin ?

Thanks,
Andreas
