Having just got Quantum Map going (thanks to Sourcepole/Marco), I've now been asked to collaborate with two US initiatives (GIS training & hydrological GIS) based around QGIS, & there is also the GEOSS QGIS plugin under development...
As a GIS enabling tool in non-GIS centric arenas, QGIS is having a massive global impact.
Much kudos to Gary & all you guys for providing us such a package!!

Nice! Keep up with the feedback as it is interesting to hear - how
about making a google+ event so we can see pics etc.
