[Qgis-developer] adding an external/custom sip binding for QgsCredentials to Qgis 1.8?

I'm not expert with the sip mechanism, so bear with me for the trivial
question.
I need QgsCredentials in my Python plugin, but the bindings are only
available in trunk.
Is it technically possible to add and use a sip binding -> python module,
that I would embed in my plugin deploy?
