[Qgis-developer] Removal of depcrecated functionality

 Hi,

 I would like to see removal of old labeling and old line decoration 
 (http://hub.qgis.org/issues/8379) before the release of 2.0. I keep 
 telling people at courses/workshops that the depecrecated stuff will go 
 away with QGIS 2.0 - I hope that this will happen.

 Who has the knowledge and time to remove the old functionality?
