[Qgis-developer] paletted color ramp for in QGis 1.8 with Python?

I'm trying to emulate with Python in QGis 1.8, the routines as in the
categorized renderer widge, to automate the creation of
the QgsRendererCategoryV2 list to infalte in
a QgsCategorizedSymbolRendererV2.
I see that QgsVectorColorBrewerColorRampV2 is missing from SIP bindings. Is
there any other mechanism to obtain a set of colors from a palette in Qgis
1.8 Python API?
