[Qgis-developer] Value Tool with PostGIS Rasters

Hi all.
I'm getting ugly performances using Value Tool plugin on a couple of
PostGIS rasters (postgres nuses 95% of CPU forever). The behaviour is a
bit erratic: with one layer is ok, with both switched on is terrible,
then switching one off it stays terrible, when switching off and on
again it is ok, etc.
Hints on what I could check?
