[Qgis-developer] Problems with empty fieldmap on some systems

Hi,

Users of TimeManager have been reporting issues, which I think we trapped
down to empty fieldmap objects.

On both my Win7 and Ubuntu systems, I cannot reproduce the problem. Have
you seen anything like this before and know how to fix it?
