[Qgis-developer] Can we remove old labeling from the UI

Marco Hugentobler is currently working on optimizing the labeling of
area features. Because it is feature-freeze I don't know if this will be
added to 2.0 or delayed for 2.1 - maybe the PSC can make a decision
about this.

Personally I would recommend to get rid of the old labeling now.
