Hi,

Along these lines I see it as an option that the many local QGIS user
groups that establish currently could perhaps come up with some
additional funding. Most organizations and companies would happily pay
a small annual fee into a local user group if the group spends this
money wisely to the benefit of all users. I think the Swiss QGIS user
group can perhaps again help with the 2.4 release. We did not help
with 2.2. release as we already spent our 2013 money we have and there
was enough funding in the main project.
