[Qgis-developer] Vector colours and legend

Hi all.
It is possible to assign colours to vector items taking the value (as
hex, html colours) from a filed of the associate table. However, this
assignment wil not appear on the legend, which is a major drawback. I do
not see any workaround: am I missing something? Should I fill a feature
req for this?
