[Qgis-developer] How should the dissolve tool in Processing work?

Hi,

I'm asking for your input on a discussion concerning the Processing
dissolve tool here: http://hub.qgis.org/issues/13502

How should it ideally work, i.e. how should the attributes of the dissolved
features be treated? Given the current Processing limitations, how should
the options look like?
