[Qgis-developer] Drag & Drop fails on Geopackage

More details would be appreciated: drag&drop from which part of the UI to which part of 
the UI ? (I'm not sure I'm aware of all drag&drop capabilities that exist) I've tried to drop a 
geopackage from the browser, DBManager and the file explorer of my desktop to QGIS 
canvas (with master and 2.18.2) and that works fine for me.
