[Qgis-developer] Processing model intermediate results file format

Hi,

Currently, it seems possible to select different output file format when a
tool is run directly from the toolbox.

Is there a way to also specify which file format should be used for model
intermediate results? As far as I can tell, it  always produces Shapefiles.
