[Qgis-developer] Help with projections

Hi all,

however we are going to solve this ..
+1 for better projection support.

reason: there are a lot of downloadable shapefiles by austrian
government which are obviously produced by ESRI products (with
austrian projection) - but when I load them in QGIS I still get
"custom projection" with the same parameters as the austrian
projection (I think it was 31259). So there must be something wrong
with projection recognition.
So beside the better projection CHOICE support - there is still some
thing to do ..
