I'd love this!

I spent a long time researching existing crowd funding platforms
before launching the current campaign and just couldn't find one which
was enterprise-friendly enough. When I ran the layer effects
kickstarter I had a LOT of feedback from people who wanted to be able
to donate but couldn't because of various reasons, like:
- could not get approval to finance projects via Kickstarter
- could not accept payments via paypal, direct donations, or other means
- could not get approval from their organisation to "fund in advance"

That's why in the end I decided just to run this all manually, and
invoice pledgers directly when the campaign ends. Unfortunately the
side effect of this approach is that it makes a lot more
administrative work, which is why the minimum amount is required.

I hate having to cut out the micro-donations (since they are very
important!), but just couldn't find a way to meet the needs of both
individuals doing micro donations and organisations wishing to
contribute larger amounts. None of the hosted services do this, and I
shied away from the self-hosted ones (even though some open source
ones look quite attractive!) as I can't afford the time investment
required to setup/maintain these.

So in short... I'd love to have access to a more flexible crowd
funding platform which is specifically tailored to funding open source
software development!
