[Qgis-developer] Autotrace stopped working?

Hi,
Paolo, afaics, you need from time to time to click to confirm the shape of
the polygon. The autotrace shows you, according to your mouse position
(near a snappable node) what your poygon will look like, following the
shortest path; it doesn't really draw it unless you click.
For what i've experienced, the tracing helps you save a lot of common nodes
click (Thank you, Martin) but you still need to click from time to time to
make human choice.

Lene, the direction is where your mouse goes. If the autotrace doesn't
really goes where you want (because it's not obviously the shortest one for
it) then you need to create an intermediate node where direction should
change.
Maybe, mixing it with the Advanced digitizing panel can help you force
direction however. Never tried.

Regards,
Harrissou
