[Qgis-developer] default datum transformations

Hi Richard

It is most convenient to let QGIS enter the content for the datum
transformations for you. Clicking +/- in the option assumes you know the
src/dest Ellipsoids and the numbers from the transformation table (it is
mostly there to have a convenient way to delete the entries).

Instead, check the box 'Ask for datum transformation when no default is
defined' in the option dialog. Then reproject a layer in the map window,
a dialog shows up asking you to pick a datum transformation. In this
dialog, check 'Remember selection'. You now have an entry in the option
table and QGIS automatically uses the selected datum transformation for
further transformation between these two CRSs.

Regards,
Marco
