[Qgis-developer] Undo/redo: Grouping actions across layers

Hi

I am looking at implementing undo functionality in my plugins but so far I have only found the option to use beginEditCommand for each layer.

If a user click a button in a plugin which introduce changes to several layers, is it then possible to do all the changes in one transaction so when the user undo's the click, all layers roll back the changes?
