[Qgis-developer] QGIS 2.16.1-2 Crashing on Loading GeoTIFFs

Don't know if this helps but qgis 2-16.2 doesn't crash on Ubuntu 16.04 
64 bit using the following repos:

deb http://qgis.org/ubuntugis xenial main
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/ubuntugis/ubuntugis-unstable/ubuntu xenial main
