[QGIS-Developer] Notification of QGIS releases

Hi Jeremy,

Here are two channels:

and https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/commits/release-2_18 (watch out for 
Release xx messages).

In general, the dates are announced at 
https://www.qgis.org/en/site/getinvolved/development/roadmap.html?highlight=roadmap#release-schedule 
- except for 3.x releases where we still wait for some features to be 
added to the code base. Once 3.0 is released, Jürgen will also publish 
dates for the 3x point releases.

Hope this helps - or do you have a good suggestion for another channel?
