[Qgis-developer] Installing on OSX

Hi all,
in the download page I read:

Mac Installer Package for both OS X Mavericks (10.9), Mountain Lion
(10.8) and Lion (10.7).

while in http://www.kyngchaos.com/software/qgis it is

For OS X Mt Lion *and newer*

Maybe this should be more explicit in qgis.org?
BTW, are there news about the more standard installer for OSX I heard
about a couple of years ago?
