Hi,

I myself also already created some (easy reproducable [0] [1] [2]) crash
issues, I think master/development is currently very fragile... (aka not
usable when using for example WMTS(WMS?) layers).

>From a developer standpoint I would maybe wait with fixing those as they
are busy creating new nice stuff, but from a user/tester standpoint it
would be good if those obvious crashes could be (or at least tried...)
to be fixed.
