[Qgis-developer] QGIS 3 / CRS change

Hi,

I just noticed a strange behavior concerning map canvas CRS.

When the first added layer is not in the same CRS as the project, the
canvas CRS is apparently changed (based on observed distortion) but not
the indicator to the bottom right of the screen. After that, I need to
change the project CRS multiple times before I get the indicator properly.

Did I get something wrong there or is this a bug? Should I open a ticket?
