[QGIS-Developer] QGIS 2 vs 3 Plugin Problem in plugins.qgis.org

And just to be clear:

in metadata.txt something like:

qgisMinimumVersion=1.8
qgisMaximumVersion=2.99

makes it ONLY show up in QGIS 2.x
mmm, maybe 2.98 should be better as 2.99 is our 3.0 developement
branch... but THIS works :-)

and something like:

qgisMinimumVersion=2.99
qgisMaximumVersion=3.99

makes it ONLY show up in QGIS 3.x (and current 2.99 3.0 branch)
