Uh, yes confirmed :-)

Without:

export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/lib/grass74/lib/:<yourinstall>

You will not even SEE the grass plugin in the plugin list.

WITH the right path in your LD_LIBRARY_PATH you will see it (with me
here in sid is is: /usr/lib/grass74/lib/ )
