[QGIS-Developer] Where do we sit with respect to release?

Hmm a choice between too early and "too late", ;)

While a sync with ongoing point release would be nice, Feb 23 seems really
far down the road. I think there's an expectation we'd release sooner. At
least, there's a lot of excitement and anticipation.
