[QGIS-Developer] Exporting GDB files?

Hi all,
GDB seems supported by GDAL (trough two drivers, one proprietary and one
not), but it does not seem possible from QGIS to export in this format.
Does anybody know what is the reason for this, and if there is a
workaround? Or is this just yet something more to be done, for which I
can open a feature req?
