[QGIS-Developer] Rectangles-Ovals-Digitizing plugin deprecated

I am talking about the Rectangles Ovals Digitizing plugin (
https://plugins.qgis.org/plugins/rectovalDigit/  )
Current version is 1.1.2

The code is currently available at
https://github.com/vinayan/RectOvalDigitPlugin

The author itself ( Pavol Kapusta ) is ok with the idea of deprecating the
plugin.

I emailed the current maintainer Vinayan Parameswaran ( vinayan123 at gmail.com)
to find out if he still maintains the plugin but did not get an answer.

If someone else knows how to get in contact with him feel free to do so.

My fork of the plugin with the bugfix is available at

https://github.com/rdbath/RectOvalDigitPlugin/

as version 1.1.3.
