Well, yes it is, all 'normal' users have this, Etienne is aware of it.
That is the reason I made Regis 'manager', as it is the only way to not
being redirected. Adding permissions to a normal user do not fix this.

I agree that the 'pending/moderation' stuff is causing more issues.
